Local Hasp updating process

Description:
  Once you have received your permanent/temporary codes, follow the steps below to update your codes.

  1. )    Install Mastercam (we prefer you install the newest version of Mastercam {!2023}, however, you can often update using an older version such as X9)

    • This is normally sent to you on a flash drive bundled with the Hasp USB

    • You can also download the installer from our website:

    • After installed, plug Hasp into PC.

  2. )      There are two methods for updating the code listed in order of difficulty

    • Save the file on the Desktop and double cick it (It will prompt you it was successful





     3.)      The other method is as follows:
    • Start -> All programs (if Windows 7) -> Mastercam 20XX (folder) -> HaspX



      4.)        Click "Update Code" and find code file that you downloaded



      5.)        Click "Update"




      6.)        Bellow the dates should change and will prompt you that it was successful. (you may need to click "read" to refresh) Start Mastercam 

    • Start Mastercam 

    • If everything starts with no issues, you should be done until the next code
