Creating My Mastercam Account and Linking License for using CAM Assist

Creating a My Mastercam account and Linking Mastercam License



Note: This email address has to be the same email address that you gave Shopware when you purchased CAM Assist as your My.Mastercam login information will be needed to access CAM Assist within Mastercam.
If you already have a linked My.Mastercam account skip to step 5 below (or click here) to begin the CAM Assist Installation and Setup

Step 1.)
  1. Open up current version of Mastercam (2025) and select the Blue File button


Step 2.)
  1.  Select Community
  2. Click Link Account
  3. After a couple of seconds a linking code should appear.
  4. Copy and paste that linking code to a safe space so you can use it in the following steps.


Note: If you do not have a linking code on this page, please contact our tech support at tech@shopwareinc.com and they can generate a new code for you. 


Step 3.) Go to the My.Mastercam.com registration page linked below:
  1. https://users.mastercam.com/Identity/Account/Register

Step 4.)
  1. Once you are registered and you are prompted to link your account, copy and paste your linking code into the box as shown

  1. Confirmation Message will look like this:


CAM Assist Download and Setup information

Step 5.) 
  1. Make sure Mastercam 2025 is not open/running 
  2. Go to CAM Assist download page by clicking this link
  3. Scroll and look for CAM Assist for Mastercam 2025 as shown:

Note: V1.1 for Mastercam 2025 current release of CAM Assist at time of writing, this version number may change as CAM Assist is improved and updated regularly. 
  1. After clicking link to download, select a location to save the EXE. It is under 25mb so should download quickly. 
  2. Double click downloaded CloudNC CAM Assist EXE you just downloaded.
  3. Click Next to continue setup, I Agree to license agreement, Next for CAM Assist to install in the Mastercam 2025 Add-Ins folder, then finally install.
  4. Install will only take a few seconds then you can click finish and optional box to run Mastercam 2025 as shown:


Step 6.) 
  1. You are now ready to get started with CAM Assist in Mastercam
  2. A CloudNC Toolbar tab will be automatically added to Mastercam as shown:

  1. Click CloudNC CAM Assist (first menu item) as shown:

  1. You will get a notification that says "Authenticating user for CAM Assist. Check your browser" and a browser tab should open where you can use your My.Mastercam login information created earlier in this guide. Go ahead and login using your email and password. 
  2. You will get a confirmation message after logging in as shown, can close the tab and return to Mastercam:
